In case you haven't heard people here in the south are currently freaking out over gas. We are having a shortage of it here in Atlanta. There are three gas stations right around the corner from our home and each morning/evening they've been rotating as to which one actually has gas and is open. People have reported waits of as long as over an hour. Fortunately our longest wait was about 5 minutes.
Given the current state of our gas problem I found this post at Overthinkingit.com rather interesting. It draws a correlation between our current oil situation and the decline of rock music (as per the Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Songs of All Time).
